Our Ortho-K Treatment
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is a painless, non-surgical method of correcting myopic vision. It uses a customised pair of eye braces (Ortho-K lenses) that is made from a gas-permeable material and moulded to suit each individual.

When worn on the eyes, these state-of-the-art lenses introduce a series of pushing and pulling action beneath the tear film of the lenses. This continuous action flattens the cells on the curvature of the cornea, relocating them to the periphery. When the wearer wakes up in the morning, the cornea has been “resculpted” temporarily to be able to focus light directly onto the retina.

Your First Consultation at Titus Eye Care
Titus Eye Care

At Titus Eye Care, our optometrists are accredited by both the International Academy of Orthokeratology and the Ministry of Health. During the first visit, we strive to address all your questions and concerns regarding Ortho-K. Through this comprehensive consultation, you and your child will have a better understanding of our Ortho-K procedure and service. Our eye specialists will then proceed to assess your child's suitability for Ortho-K. We make use of a proprietary software to specially customise the eye braces, so as to maximise the effects of myopia control for each patient.

Titus Eye Care

Through our unique Myo-Control technology, we are able to capture a detailed ocular imprint of the entire cornea. Our eye specialists work with this data to specially custom-create a personalised pair of Ortho-K eye braces for your child. Your child can expect to experience perfect eyesight in 1 to 2 weeks, with some of our patients reporting clear vision in as short as a few days. Depending on the complexity of the case and the myopic condition, a series of 4 to 6 visits over a 6 month period may be required.

Titus Eye Care offers you the best in eye care with our fully-qualified orthokeratologists, state-of-the-art eye care technology, and personalised care and service.
